A Theory of Slope Shear Scouring and the Failure Mechanism of PFC3D on a Gangue Slope

In this paper, scouring shear failure theory is optimized based on the gangue slope near thermal power field in Baiguo Town, Panzhou City, Guizhou Province. Based particle flow PFC (particle code) 3D fluid–solid coupling method, mechanism of ditch no. 5 comprehensively analyzed from perspectives mode, displacement, motion track, and stress–strain. Scouring deposits arc deposit mode sector mode. Mainstream gullies primarily control whether or straight deposits. later stage second phase incubation period gully. large accumulation makes stress increase sharply, fluctuation value between 2 6.8 MPa. generation branch notch mainly determined X-direction stress, 8.6 MPa critical stress. efforts to prevent landslide, area should preferentially protected, soil mass reduced energy caused scouring, so significant damage top.
